Over 540 million years ago the Flinders Ranges stood taller than the Himalayas. Nowadays the Ranges are only a couple of hundred metres higher than the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa Building in Dubai, but what it lacks in height it certainly makes up for in geological history, beautiful landscapes, rewarding hikes, four wheel driving tracks and rare native Australian flora and fauna. A worthwhile adventure with family or friends!
McLaren Vale is one of three major wine regions located less than an hour's drive from Adelaide. Here you'll find an array of lovely wineries (with open cellar doors) offering great quality wines with an absolutely stunning backdrop no matter which winery you choose to visit, or what time of year you are visiting. Do yourself a favour and spend at least a night here (even two!) and we guarantee that it won't take long before you feel totally relaxed and immersed in the natural beauty of the area.
Victoria
Bright is one of those regions that is great all year round. It is based near Victoria's most popular skiing destinations in Winter and offers amazing hiking trails and unique food&wine experiences in the warmer months. However, you must absolutely visit Bright at it's finest, which is, in our opinion, Autumn. The striking colours of the Autumn leaves are mesmerizing and we recommend immersing yourself in the region's produce via the many farm gates, cellar doors, and local markets located all around.
